Welcome!

Do you have a song that you hate to love? Of course you do. We all do. We all have tracks on our iPod we'd be embarrassed for our friends to see, and songs with which we sing along on the radio but never with anyone else around. Everyone's caught themselves thinking "Not every Nickelback (or Creed, or Michael Bolton, or Miley Cyrus) song is bad."

And you never know . . . the song that is your most guilty pleasure may be someone else's secret too. What we're trying to do here is uncover the ultimate guilty pleasure song -- the song that more people love than would generally ever admit to it. We'll nominate songs, put them into a seeded bracket, and then put them head-to-head against each other in a poll where voters can decide which "bad" song they like better.

We'll start with a two-week long nomination phase. You can nominate as many songs as you want by sending your list to ultimateguiltypleasures@gmail.com. Songs must receive at least three votes to be eligible for the bracket, and no more than three songs per artist will be included. All ballots will be kept private, and no information as to who nominated which songs will be made available.

Happy nominating!
